Cabaret at the Paris Consulate – « JayWalk »

It was the 13th of May at the Consulate Paris, famous artistic third place of the 11th arrondissement of Paris. The Sheitanerie Cie landed, one step away, empty stomach, rage in the heart, for an evening the next day that burns the body.

I was invited to participate in the creation of the cabaret in this demise and enraged energy conquest. « JayWalk », accompanied by many artists with various artistic worlds and practices: fakir, classical dance revisited and contemporary, aerial stretch and queer performances, Aerial Straps on an aerial bridge in translation, acrobatics, wheel cyr, on a powerful rock music, and under a light where shadow and shape are only one.

Painted from head to toe of silver color, I appeared twice.

The first time in balance 6 meters high above the mezzanine ramp of the Consulate, for a quick interlude.

The second time on my Aerial Straps, I appeared, bestial, from the bottom of the place, until I passed over the audience on an aerial bridge that was moving horizontally and that led me to the middle of the scene. A final of 5 minutes of straps where I was able to express all my singularity, as to show my joyous rage and my happiness to be here with these magnificent artists.

The Sheitanerie caravan rolled with all its power on the Paris Consulate and left it a beautiful painful memory. Playful! Thanks to Pierre Pleven for the trust.
