It's after the Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain that Alessandro Serena and Raffaele De Ritis invited them to participate in their annual event in Italy. After 1500km of car, the day after an artistic performance that ended at 4am we arrived, my air engine operator and I, in Pescara, on the shores of the Adriatic Sea, where took place the XV Gala du Gran Cirque « Funambolika » !
This major event of the region and the summer period brought together a magnificent plateau of international artists (Lucky Hell, Duo Now, Eric Boo, Valeria Davidenko, Duo Cardio, Chuan Ho Chu, Anton Monastyrky). The show was staged by Raffaele De Ritis and Alessandro Serena in person.
On two occasions we were able to perform in a beautiful open-air theatre in front of more than 4000 people. Standing ovation at every performance!
Barely arrived, but the belly already full of delicious Italian dishes, we were already on our way back. We drove directly after the show ended and the air engine was uninstalled. A departure at 1am, for an arrival at destination around 7pm the next day.
Despite the fatigue it was a wonderful experience!
