In June 2025 we played 10 performances of The story of the Soldier in the sublime TChâtelet heaster in Paris. This original work created by Stravinsky and Ramuz at the beginning of the 20th century was staged by Karelle Prugnaud, accompanied on the artistic part « circus » by Nikolaus de la pre-cut, musical direction Alizé Lehon, and scenography and costumes Pierre André Weitz . On stage we were 5 circus artists, 3 actors, and 7 musicians.

It was a hell of an adventure! 5 weeks of rehearsal to finish on this opera piece lasting 1h20. Despite the period that was more favorable for people to go on Parisian terasses to enjoy the sun, the show met its audience, delighted by this very visual experience of the history of the Soldier. The press was also at the meeting, with very nice reviews (Refuge, Classic Concert, Telerama, Slide, The Terrace, etc.). A set of very worked paintings, very contrasting sometimes dark, sometimes colorful that took us, artists as spectators in the Faustian adventure of this soldier not like the others.

In the excerpt below, I am with the super narrator Vladislav Galard and I play the acrobatic lining of soldier actor Xavier Guelfi on my Aerial Straps.

This experience has been a great success! I would remember being butcher, dog, priest, soldier, opera rat, man in brief, led soldier, on the ground, in the air and on the hands.

Below is a photo of all the teams, technical and artistic, without which nothing would be possible!
