Show Aerial Straps – Open Scene

With friends circus artists we were welcomed by Armance BROWN and Bruno KRIEF, co-creators of the company « Air art » to exchange on our practices Aerial Straps. A very pleasant workshop that concluded with a show on the public square of Old Mans, on an exceptional structure of giant bamboos!

An almost improvised scene between lulls of rain and Covid, where we played the unique character of this square, to improvise ourselves Circassians jewelry thieves. A staging by Armance BROWN, who was able to guide us with his soft and assured hand despite the lack of preparation. A poetic cabaret, mixing different circus specialties: fabric, dance, « cube », straps, balance, in the background of air music and celestial lights.

A nice moment of sharing, and an audience present despite the rain, despite the Covid.., whose envy and the need to consume the show was stronger than anything else. 

For my part, I realized a small improvised number at the Aerial Straps on Janis Joplin's music « Summer Time ». Here is an excerpt in the video below.
